I'd like to add my thanks for a great job. A month ago I wasn't really aware of IV, but now I know you are a force to be reckoned with! I am already a USC, but the debacle impacted family members. We are from a country in "the rest of the world", but we also benefited from your efforts.

This thread starts with a call to all the EB2 people. Is it only the EB2 people suffering due to USCIS actions? Or are EB2 applicants a distinguised lot that they dont want EB3 to join with them?
It is so depressing to see the attitude of some of these guys !!! There have been so many threads explaining the difference(or indifference) between the qualifications of the applicants.
The suffering has been equally bad or even much worse for the EB3 applicants. I am an EB3 2003 applicant and my suffering has been equally painful. The campaign should be about fair treatment to every applicant, not alone EB2 or EB3.
Any campaign will only be successful when we try to do something together.
If you yourself are belittling the EB3 applicants, why do you have higher expectations from the American Citizens/Government.

The USCIS memo specifically talks about EB2 india, china applicants on hold. Since EB3 was listed as U, we cannot do anything about it. If both EB2 and EB3 were current, I would have given a call to both. There is no belittling out here. the Circumstances are like that.

This is a separate issue, but will be useful when visa re-capture is successful.

Big deal! So there are two or more people using the same computer/ IP address to post from two IV logins. In all likely hood if there are more than one person, MadhuVJ and GCStatus account users know each other.
Move on. If you really insist, there is only one way to settle this. Since its the same IP address, post your actual st address, a few IV volunteers if they are so inclined would have to visit the site and find out who all live/work there.

If what you are proposing happens, boy-o-boy!!! lot of head aches and tension would go away for folks who have applied their I-485 and waiting for a long time. Just imagine if the status changes to "ADJUDICATED-WAITING FOR VISA NUMBER" it would be as good as getting the GC.

I'm not sure if I'm eligible to apply for Master's quota. I'm done with all my degree requirements and I've scheduled my thesis defence on MAy 20th. Is it still possible that I can apply in Master's quota. I've a letter from my schools which states that I'm done with all my degree requirements and I'll be finishing thesis on May 20th. Is this letter enough to apply for MAsters??

I just talked to a NSC representative and he told me that my case is sent to extended review. Now what is this extended review?
Well, what annoys and confused me is that when I took Info pass day before yesterday she told me that my case is with IO. And now NSC rep is giving me another version called extended review.
Don't know whom to believe.
Does anyone here had same exp.

In addition to moral blindness, your visual impairment also seems to extend to the physical realm preventing you from even reading the responses to your post.
And you need to do better than just posting links to ACLU and other left leaning websites if you want to forcibly argue your point. Somebody in this forum was pointing out how the majority here seem to favor illegal immigrants. Let me point out that Apraio was elected democratically in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008. Apparently voters in his county have a different point of view about illegal immigrants and have no problems voting him again repeatedly.
